Konqistador deliver evil-electro rock dancing through dark themes of respect, revenge and vendettas. A hard hitting thunder of medieval & ancient rhythms, guttural electro synth bass, fiery fuelled guitar assaults and throat slitting vocals. Truly music to plot revenge to.
The band’s debut album, Courage Riot was self-produced by D.A. Chow and Reggie Ray. Lead singer Lizzy Ray is a multi-linguist, and delivers lyrics in 3 different languages throughout the album. Since its inception, the band has toured the USA, Canada & Australia with New Zealand and EU loaded for 2006. The band delivers its shows with an unconventional line-up of 2 guitars, an electro bass (controlled with foot pedals), guttural synthesizers, a variety of sound samples from around the world, and a collection of vintage equipment (including a very rare 1964 Trixon Speedfire drum set – the only one seen in Australia). Do not miss this one-off experience!
